I have noticed a bit or questions here about this subject. I would like to see a thread dedicated to building tooling and production molds, I have a small skill hull mold and I wish to build an interior hull liner that will sit upon the stringers, my delema is this skiff has a bit of tumblehome in her stern so I may hace to build the liner in two pieces to slide in the aft section first then repair a "beauty" line joining the fore section,, ! any pictures are welcome

    trim tab pocket mold

this part can be used in production female molds by trimming and setting in in the mold on some clay, or a femae part can be pulled and used in a retro-fit application

If the tumblehome is not extreme or has other shape locking the part in it can usually be released by lifting the front out first and sliding the whole part forward over the bow.
