Prismatic coeff...

    Here is another newbie question...
    How do I determine the correct station to use when calculating the Cp? When max Bwl and max Canoebody draft is not at the same station, should I use the contour (seen in fwd to aft direction) of the canoebody instead of a single station?
    :confused:
    Cant find any recomendation on this in the "Principles of Yacht design"

    If they are very close, there won't be a great difference. If they are far apart, use the average.

    Use station of maximum area

    CP is usually defined in terms of the section area curve, so it's the section of maximum area.
