I've got a 22' power boat design that requires a trim value of -.100 feet (1.2") to move the LCB aft about 5" to match the LCG.

My question is this: How do I locate the new waterline in the profile view?

    Thanks.

Just rotate the hull around the y-axis ("Transform" -> "Rotate"). You need to calculate the rotation angle to match the desired trim of -1.2" first or do it the trial-and-error way.

Most likely you have to adjust the draught also to maintain your design displacement.

    Thanks, Olav. That was easy.
