    Hi,

Yes, it is infact the boat from the thread you mentioned.

Sorry about the delay in getting photographs. The missus decided to have a baby, and that sortof took my attention away from the ball at the wrong moment. ( we are far too old to be getting pregnant and having children, both in our early fourties!! )

    Photos to follow!

    NO, you are´nt.
Older parents are the better parents. And the children grow up happier! (I was 51 when I became father last time)

    sorry for the aside...........

The plug build was just like the model build. www.bananasharkracing.com is doing the build - they are very good at fiberglass work.

First the layout is planned on the floor and the index plates glued to the concrete and made level. This was then used to erect the skeleton of bits to make up the boat shape.

A skin is then put onto the frame.

A tricky part was some idiot designer worry about the exact profile of the step, so this had to be manufactured seperately.

You can see another version of the model in this picture of the steps. The model had the wings cut off to see the implications to the handling. This specific boat will not have wings - only the hull will be as per the model design. The plug for the winged version will be built after this plug has made the mold required.

Some more pictures of the running surfaces being refined. This is the current state of play. I will be getting new photographs probably in the next week, as I am scheduled to go down on Wednesday next week.

This was entirely accidental I assure you. And we did not even know till 6 months had passed, as when women reach a certain age they expect 'normal' changes, and she could not previously have children due to medical issues, so was unaware.....

We have an 8 week old baby girl, who is near as damn perfect.

So that project is over, onto the boat! :)
