    Hello,
Can any anyone advise me on the best type of pop rivets for attaching stainless steel fittings to a carbon mast section please? I have read somewhere that "split rivets" are available which spread wider internally to reduce localised loading to the laminate. The other problem as I understand is that common rivet materials such as monel metal are too far removed from carbon on the galvanic series, hence likely to suffer corrosion.

Titanium is the closest I believe.
