Polyester ages to 1/4 strenght with 1 million cycles and design rules

    I read eliasson book and there was a graphic which shows polyester in grp ages in 1 million cycles to 1/4 strenght.

    Do we design boats with final , middle or first strenght while using class rules ?

    Surely that would depend on the laminate under consideration, and the load applied in each cycle.

    There is no first, middle or final strength in Class rule. Just the minimum strength that must be complied with.
