Hello I am looking for an alternative to the rotten ply in my bucket seat backs. This panel offers some strength but is supported by the fibreglass shell behind it. Currently 10mm ply. I have read about HDpe and a few other products. Ideally I’m looking for something light weight that will not rot and will take a staple.

    Thanks.

Ply is hard to go past.
If you are worried by rot, seal it with Epoxy.
I bet the old one wasn't epoxied, and it probably lasted 10 + years,
