Maybe it just sound like a bargain because I'm in the UK! I think everything should be half of the price advertised here in 'reality' haha

I'm starting to think that actually 10k (GBP), 20k Aus doller is not actually the stupidly cheap price it appeared to a English guy like myself!

I shown it to a few mates and they couldn't believe the price. Show it to a few Aussies and they laugh ;)

10k GBP is worth more than 20k AUD these days, I think. Check the exchange rates.

Depends what you want to do. If you buy it for yourself to spend holidays on it would be great to cruise the abrolis islands or kick back over at rotto. Even up to shark bay or exmouth. Just get to know someone who will keep an eye on it when your not there. Plenty of aussies own cruisers in the uk and europe and spend a couple of months a year cruising.

Yeah mate, it's actually.. $21,707.67 as of today.

Even the moorings are cheap there - $475 he paid for the fees for a year.

My closest place (wet) is a deanreddyhoff marina and it is abour $1000 aussie per metre for the year! That is a standard, key pass, water/electric, no frills.

Should start importing these $15 - 20k boats to the UK.. get them piggy backed over on a big ship and stick them up for sale..

    You'd make a mint here.

Paperwork would be a pain in the butt..

Need to win the lottery ;)

Is it on a swing mooring because i don't know of any pen around perth under 3000 a year. The boat price is good if it is in good condition. But it is about what i expected.

It's up in fremantle way I believe, cheaper up there I assume?

Sound's like a swing price all the same dosen't it?! Even dry for that price.

I suspect many boat types are a whole lot cheaper in the USA than Australia, and in far greater numbers.

    Yeah USA potentially better..

Trouble is the import duties. I was told before that is is cheaper to import (not delievery price just duties) from Aus because of the British colony/involvement. Never looked into it actually.

I am not sure on the material yet, I messaged my friend 2 days ago for more info but he's on a little island in Indonesia currently off grid more a less. He's back in Nov when the boat can be sold.

You mean down in fremantle and double the price . There are some swing moorings in the river there. All the fremantle marinas cost a fortune. Perth has a shortage of berths and moorings which makes them very pricey although it may not be so bad now the mining has slumped.
