    Hello...

Sorry to be a beggar - but does anyone have a good 3D model of an outboard...
Or do I just have to do one myself this afternoon...
Also - does anyone know how to RIP 3DF files using Myriad that have been locked up...

Use the old "hex-editor" to delete un-necessary bits, but you better know the good bits you have to keep..... Sorry Sean, not much good with Windows stuff these days..... I stopped programming around '82..

    Optimax

Here is a Rhino model we cobbled together for a patrol boat design using a pair of Optimax "like" outboards. You can combine the better detailed transom clamp from one of the other files. enjoy.

    The Island Of Sean...

    Hello...

Here we have - how to create a cruising ground with your face - sounds strange - well - that is because it is bloody strange - but this is my post and my world so here goes nothing before I can no longer focus - besides it is a good party trick - particularly when there is nobody at your party...:)

Crop out a picture of self in Photoshop - greyscale and high contrast - plop into Rhino using command 'Height field' (75 x 75 x 4 units of height or other) - add texture and render - add a surface for water and repeat (cool to watch flooding as you move same up and down) - Rhino has many uses...

Lastly - mix a drink - and go do some paying work - save your files...

Strange - I still cannot find my piece of lucky string...

Thanks again everyone who posted outboard files - it is for my 'Wally Style for one' - which hence fork will be called the 'Willy' - (I may work same up a bit tonight) - to legally separate myself from same - and yet pay homage - to those Champagne sippers 'in the know'...

    SH.

Sean, one word - brilliant - I like your capacity to think laterally - me. I'm too constrained by age & convention - alas.

Thank you sir..... (not allowed to praise you with "brownie points" - deserve some more rep though...
