I am a naval architect. This barge, of size 80mLx14mBx4.5 mDx2.5m draught with two holds with hatch covers, has a deadweight of 2700 t and a speed of over 8 knots in fully loaded conditions.
The hull was designed after extensive model tests. With three engines, the vessel is highly fuel efficient and easy to maneuver.
It has a robust steel structure, and can be easily modified to make the design a full fledged sea going vessel.
The vessel was built in 2011 and has been operating with great success without any trouble since then.
The vessel was built under class and as such all drawings are approved from IACS accredited Classification society. Extensive and detailed production drawings are available along with nesting plans to minimize wastage.
International class accommodation with all facilities.
The design is conducive to block construction and all block drawings are available . Details piping layout drawing of engine room is there to facilitate the building.
The design is thoroughly tested.
The design is available for sale at 20000 euros. Technical guidance and assistance for production, equipment procurement and commissioning of the vessel can be provided at extra cost of 200 euros per man hour
