Aside from the offerings from Specmar, does anyone know if construction plans are available from any designers for a scratch-built Aluminum hulled RIB?

Ideally, around 5 meters +/-, and ideally without the need to use CNC equipment, either for cutting, or for lofting.

    Thanks,

    Hello Ad Hoc

From what I can tell, CNC Marine are all set up for a build requiring CNC
equipment, either for lofting or for plate cutting. I prefer to work from
Dimensioned drawings that I can loft from. Personal preference, old school.

    Thanks

yes they are set up as you state. But I know he should be able to easily accommodate your wishes. Just email him and ask :)

If you wanted a bigger 10m+ RIB..i would be able to...but I don't do hulls that small...

Steve Chapple of CNC Marine just replied.
    CNC cutting files only.
Pity. Thanx anyway Mr Ad Hoc, seems
to me there is a gap and an opportunity for you there,
at this smaller end of the market.

That's a pity. I thought he might be able to assist.

Well, there is a gap. But is there a market for it...is another question!

Thanks for all replies to my question. I'm working with TANSL now, to
    actualize the scratch-built RIB. A well-qualified individual,
and just as importantly, a pleasure and privilege to
    work with.
