We are in the planning stages of building a hard top cockpit enclosure to go on our Schucker 444 sailboat. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated as far as materials, sources, books, etc. I am not a novice when it comes to construction or design, but in terms of boats building I am (can't just frame up a wall with 2x4's in this case!).

Barry, As you are a builder, do not be afraid of the project , it is simplier than you think.
Could you give me an approximate lxw of the cover and how thick you would like it to be.
