1987 3.0LX mercruisers head bolt help

    Thanks everyone for ring help now I have another question about the head bolts.The service manual says to coat the head bolts with a sealer but don't recomend what type I know it should be marine grade but can anyone give me and actual name brand or something I can get at my parts store.......

    GM have their own stuff #1050026 but I have used loctite thread and pipesealer plenty of times or permatex #2

    Non-hardening gasket sealer. I have rebuilt dozens of them and never had a failure.
