As I mentioned in another thread, the Italians have had an active 10' class "diecipiedi" for many years. The great thing about their class is the goal is fun, great outings and interesting creations.

This is a page of designs offered for free.

    12' Tri

Thanks, Ricardo-that's a neat little boat. The fact that it is a production boat is very cool.

Thank you Doug for posting the link to my Tryst trimaran. You know, but others may not, that it is a nesting trimaran.

Two years ago we took it on a long road trip (8,000 miles) through 21 US states and on to Mexico's Baja with it all in the back of our pick up truck, which has a 6ft long bed. Of course we had all our personal stuff for 4 months with us as well.

More here but you need to scroll down for photos of Tryst

In haste, off to sail on my 14ft Zeta trimaran now

In TRIMARANER 17/ Fall 1973 I`ve found a little photo. The description:

Kenneth Currie shows off what must be the world´s smallest trimaran. LOA is 8'.

The Sailor seems to enjoy sailing his comfortable small boat.

    Little Tri

Thanks, Manfred! I like that he's sitting sideways. Thats what I would want and as much down in the boat as possible-except I need to be able to stretch out!
I want to sail with the tiller in my aft hand and sheet in my forward hand while sitting comfortably in a seat with back support....
