Perhaps someone could give me a definitive answer to another question I cannot find the answer to.
In infusion, when laying in the different layers of fabrics it is useful to use a tack spray adhesive to hold things in place. Some say 3M77 is OK and others say it resists the infusion like pebbles in a stream and negitively affects the epoxy cure. Is there any product out there that is recommended for infusion that actually becomes part of the epoxy during curing.
I have heard that there is, but can never find a name or a supplier.
    Thanks
    Fred

Use Raptor composite staples, if using a foam core:

They work great - and no worrying about adding questionable layers between your laminates.

I use NG-IF, which is available in spray cans and in 13,6 kg cannisters (self-propelled) and this glue does not see any problems.

Also popular is hotmelt glue, as it contains no VOCs. VacTac100 is a good one.

And indeed mechanical fastenings, like Raptor Composite Nails and staples, or Airtech Tackstrip.

In Europe all 4 options at www.brandscomposiet.nl

In Canada go to CCP Composites, they had been Progress Plastics until just recently.

    Epoxy compatable tackifier

Thanks to all! I contacted Progress Plastics in Toronto and ordered the NuTack E 046-4103 tackifier that "Is Compatable" with epoxy. $22.00 per can. I have searched for months but this search is over.
It seems that advanced composite technical how to, is a dark art somehow.

I have not found this to be the case on this forum. Thanks again.
