Has anyone taken pictures of the Patin a Vela or Patín Catalán that you would be willing to see published in Catalyst, the journal of the Amateur Yacht Research Society? A member has written an article about those boats, and wanted to illustrate it with pictures taken from the net, assuming that this would be fair use for an educational charity. The Committee is not so sure. I have looked for pictures that are free to use, and found none. I have written to copyright holders to ask for permission, and got no reply. So now I am soliciting pictures from whoever is willing to supply some. I can't promise I will use any one picture, though. It has to fit the article. We need sailing pictures, and ideally one of tacking.

    Hi Robert,
I own one and have a few photos of it sailing. They aren't great, but I'll look for them. Should I post them here?

I'm sure I have one other photo, but can't find it. The rig on the Patin is very interesting and powerful.
Not steering while the boat is absolutely flying is a sensation!

These help a lot. Thank you. I will properly attribute the pictures to you.

If anyone has a picture of a tack in progress, that is something Ian Ward discusses, so an illustration would help the reader.
