    Exactly,--and all the other things that beg to be --NOT offered to the seas.

    The whole boat is designed to go forward, the bows are made to break the seas and take to force. Hatthes cockpits all made to endure conditions from the front.

    Then when it drops to force 7 and you feel like getting on the way how will you reverse into it to slacken the line? ---- transfer to the bow?

    The bow is the lightest and will lift over a wave , the stern is not and will be washed.

    Different boats different blokes --not for me--

    Excellent points. I think I'll turn my prop around and start driving my hull in the other direction!
