I have searched the threads so aplologies if this has been asked many times before but what is a good value piece iof software for drawing plans?

I make my hulls in Freeship then I can draw in Rhino to a large extent but are unble to properly hatch plies of glass on hull shapes and import Jpegs and change text settings easily. I don't want to do much 3D work except hatching laminates and the like and could almost make do with a 2D program.

Autocad and the like are more powerful than I need I think.

Dollars are a big part of the decision.

    cheers

CMS Intellicad, the lower cost version works just fine and for what you need IMO this is your best bet.
