Im experimenting some ideas and was wandering if any one could give a opinion about a outboard converted to an inboard. would it be posible to stick an outboard 300hp and convert it to an inboard with special mounts, wiring controls, etc Would gravity take hold of it as it sits 90 degree on its side with wear and tear? I thank you for your comments and advice. Felipe

it can be done and has been done. google mercury jet, they had an outboard power head driving a jet unit. in the 60's omc or merc, i forget which one, had a stern drive which used an outboard power head. also i think the original mercury 6 tower of power outboard was designed for an aircraft before it was a boat motor.
