I am possibly going to get this in a trade, it has a 120 Mercruiser I/O, anyone have any experience with one? I know they are rough in the chop, but that is about it. Mainly I am concerned about the motor. It is a 1981 merc, 4 cyl I believe, that runs well he said. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The engine is most likely a 3.0 Liter GM block that they have sold millions of. It is basically bullet proof and it is one you can buy a remanufactured one cheap from a variety of engine builders. I believe you can buy fuel injection kits for it. New ones are fuel injected.
