Once I rowed a dinghy with an interesting seat

    Interesting, almost 40 years ago I designed and built a small dinghy that ended up with a fore and aft seat made as a tube from transom to stem, fitting the tube at the stem was challenging. Advantages were easy arrange for solo use or cramming two people and the volume of the tube doubled as floatation. Last time I saw the boat it was standing on end as decoration at SeaWorld San Antonio.
