    First canoe I ever built was one of those. Paddles like an inflated mattress.

    Very tiresome.

    which one? Length? Prismatic? Flare? Rocker? Beam? Sit down paddling? Knee paddling? Paddled like a mattress at all Froud numbers? Like a deflating mattress?

    A skinny low rider? More like swimming. At least at first. At that point, laying on its side, it doesn’t really matter if it floats like any kind of fruit. People will ask if you’re ok though.
