This has probably been covered before but here goes anyway. Have been using an industrial glue called melomine urea formaldahyde. Not available retail, the stuff is used in timber mills for finger jointing mouldings etc. Some of the mouldings made with it were recently involved in the major flood event we had here in Aus and came up shining, long term immersion has no effect on the stuff and the only downside is that it softens at high temps, high enough so that the boat would probably have to be on fire to reach them. O yes, and the hardener is very dangerous stuff which will take the skin off you in short order. On the plus side, at least for me, is that I can get it free. Anyone else tried it ?.
