omc 800 what oil?

    what oil do i use in an omc 800 sterndrive type c or hypoid 90

    Type C is for the electric shift, it is too light for the 800. Synthetic 75-90 will work fine.

    Make sure it is extreme duty. Marine oil has more anticorrosion aditives
