Can anyone tell me what model, make, or type this boat is?

    Hello my name is Arielle,

I am working on a computer generated model of, as far as I gather, a type of fishing vessel frozen in an ice floe. This model is a portion of my final project for the college I am attending. To complete this model throughly I require many more reference images, and if possible design plans or schematics of the boat. Do any of you know what the model is for this boat? Any information would help me greatly. Thank you.

I doubt it is a fishing vessal. A work boat or Support boat is more likely.

That steel boat could be employed in a variety or duties. She looks setup as a small harbor tug, intended to wrestle small craft off sand bars, tow disabled vessels back to shore, etc.

Gaastra maybe, a fisheries patrol boat or something very much of that ilk, I'd say.

Yes, it easily could provide several forms of marine service, but there are clues to suggest she's up against other boats and floats reasonably frequently. If you could magnify the registration number, you may be able to pull up her owner.

*sigh* Well unfortunately even with the help I'm having trouble finding other boats that are very close to this model.

 JUST a hunch. It looks like a Nordic design.
