My *tone* in this forum is and was supportive of Boston's problem. I consider you my peers - you are not superior to me in any way. Therein lies the problem. You don't like a new guy interjecting potentially valuable information into the mess that exists. You blame the bearer of bad news.

I am perfectly qualified to comment on the process used to [not] purchase this boat and suggest posters here may put Boston at a disadvantage with some of their comments if it ends up in court. It could also cost the forum administration time and money. This is not a threat from me - it is my experience in life - having acted as an expert witness in many construction / land development law suits for over 25 years. Nobody likes a law suit - Boston has hired a lawyer [appropriate] and mentioned going to court - possible, perhaps likely... Boston did - I did not.

I have made no threats. For you to suggest so indicates you just don't like what I said - as opposed to think about the consequences to Boston because of other posts - particularly the one mentioning firearms. I suggested Boston ask his attorney for advice about continuing this conversation here. How threatening is that?

Should Boston rely on you? Or his attorney? I suggest the latter.

You have the qualifications to constructively comment on his problem. Instead you criticize me.

Daniel, Apex1 and many others have many other qualifications and experience I do not have. I respect them for what they know - even if sometimes abrasive in their postings. They are probably right.

You don't want to digest my comments or respect them - so be it. You are smaller for that. And loose the opportunity to help others by recognizing and commenting on the defective process Boston employed trying to reach his dream.

I have no dog in this fight other than give you guys a kick in the shin and make you blink.

deal is I just spent 8 hours looking at yachts and no go

I did find a pos chris craft for 4k but the guy was all aghast that I wanted to just rip its guts out

besides 4k was to much for it anyway

Well there is an elco 50 flat top for $125000 I could probably get for half that but **** mye to tears it's still to much nd it's on the wrong side of the country
