    Hi,

How massive engine bed do I need to have to replace my 150 kW engine with 260 kW (kg/m2 of laminate)? Boat is 25 feet 3600 lbs fiber glass.

    Thanks for help.

I suspect if your current Engine bed is adequate for the smaller Engine, little if anything need be done.

If in doubt, you could fasten metal plates (aluminun, steel), first fastened to the stringers or engine bed, positioned between the stringer(bed)and engine, thereby reinforcing the mounting points.
