    They built the old MSV which was 8'6" beam. The new design is 11'6" beam, but based on the old one.

    Gonzo, why has your team chosen to go with a mono instead of a cat? Are the cats less capable in long offshore endurance races?

    The rules specify monohulls only. In really heavy seas, the MSV boats have beat the cats.
