You are doing well with communicating in English. Your teacher should be proud of your hard work and progress. You should be proud of your teacher for the good guidance.

It was my privilege to be of assistance. Learning about our cultures is important to understanding each other. I hope you will become a successful person after college and never get discouraged when things are difficult.

    Good morning/afternoon, chunpei.
I would prefer to filter our communiques through this forum. I am sure you will understand I don't like to lay my email address out there for the world. You should remove your email address from the previous post on this public forum as well. In the future, you should send your private email address by way of a private communique so you won't fall victim to unscrupulous scammers.

I have never designed anything over16 feet long. No yachts. I have been on a couple of them. When designing yachts always consider using light-weight materials wherever possible to keep low COG(center of gravity).

Google the word yachts and a wealth of information will appear. Google yacht building plans and it will narrow your search. Most designers will specialize in certain hull materials. While some like to work in traditional material like wood. Some will specialize in steel hulls, while others will go for modern materials like GRP and carbon fiber in epoxy. Decide which material you prefer then build to those specifications. Study Kurt Hughes (http://multihulldesigns.com/stock.htm) designs for multi-hull boats in wood or fiberglass on foam. Small boats are designed well by Glen-L at http://www.glen-l.com/. Other good small boat designs come from Bateau at http://www.bateau.com/. Study successful models and learn from them. Buy plans and build to see how it all works. You will learn a lot that way.

Layout of yacht interior is dependent on dimensions of existing equipment. Seating, bedding and galleys sizes are pretty much standardized. Learn those standard dimensions and your knowledge of them will guide you.

There is much specialization in fabrication of components. Workers may build only cabinets, while others build only tables or staircases. Others will only install electronics while others specialize in propulsion. The yacht designer needs to know hulls and superstructure and how to incorporate the above listed modular units into his design.
