That's a good enough version, I got a good laugh out of that.

I also think there is no workable solution in sight, with people themselves being the obstacle to finding solutions for their own salvation. Humans got waylaid from reality thousands of years ago by mass psychosis, which itself was born from the inability of humans to play nice in large numbers. I suspect in the near future when the fecal hits the fan, humans will be mostly removed from the situation. In the meantime, self centered ignaroons wearing crosses, waving flags and spreading ignorance (a large part of the above mentioned humans) should be addressed.

Our salvation will not come from the exercise of climate "science". Be careful about projecting terms like ignoramus and psychosis upon others. It shows more about you than it does them.

Happy "Cow Appreciation Day". I assume that includes sea cows.

If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.

5 Things to Know about the Trillion-Ton Iceberg | Scientific American

    What's next?

    ...
What does it mean for Antarctica?
    ...
    Is this climate change?
    ...
    Will it make oceans rise?
The Larsen C iceberg will add 0.1 millimeter (thickness of a sheet of paper) in sea-level rise, so it won't be detectable. Annual sea-level rise is about 3 millimeters (1/8") a year. If the iceberg had come from land, it would make sea levels rise 3 millimeters (1/8") worldwide.

Other than posing a hazard to shipping, it seems the iceberg has created a lot of anxiety over nothing. Worried about eighth inch rise in seawater, really? At least the iceberg can help cool some fevered coral reef somewhere. What is the current pattern there?

Hmmmm. A light hearted approach to one more 'domino' in the whole catastrophic chain of events. Not so funny for people actually being affected by the Southern Ocean Warming.

Trillions of 'permanent' tonnes of ice breaking into the Southern Ocean is a sign of a whole lot disastrous changes in the oceans.

In such a complicated environment, you can bet that the breakaway will have thousands of small but accumulating consequences.

Already, in Australia are looking at major changes in rainfall patterns due to Southern Ocean warmings.
    About Australian climate http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/about/
The Highs that normally circulate much further south, have been reaching up to the main land, and preventing the usual winter rains

The price of wheat has been affected by the semi-drought conditions across most of Australia. Local farmers local to me are very concerned.
"Many of Australia's productive agricultural regions have been hit by the driest June on record.
Rabobank's Agribusiness Monthly report says wheat yields have been downgraded in cropping regions in Western Australia, South Australia and northern NSW."

Some of studies indicate that changes in the Antarctic could have changes for the rest of the world.

Of course, I don't believe the CO2 drove the temperatures, but rather the reverse. Rising temperatures allowed the production of more CO2.

So get busy building that land bridge to reconnect Australia to Antarctica. That actually could change your climate for the better. Maybe you could use Uluru for raw materiel to help complete the project. o_O

The line extending through Tasmania and Sturge Island looks to be the best potential route to place any future land bridge.

Although, upon further thought, Antarctica separated from you once and may not want you back.
