Climate Change Will Bring Wetter Storms in U.S., Study Says | New York Times

A new study from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) shows that if greenhouse gases remain at current levels storms with intense rainfall will increase up to five times above current levels across the U.S., particularly in the Northeast and the Gulf Coast.

Across the Northwest and the Central U.S., total rainfalls might decrease, but intense rainfalls could still increase, raising the possibility of increased risk of both flooding and drought.

 

Climate scientists are acting paranoid, copying their fallacious data so it won't mysteriously disappear, as though they can't create more lying data in the future. ala East Anglia emails.

 

They could always hit up Exxon or any other oil company for the documents, since they were among the first to study AGW and among the first to realize it was true.

But, the oil companies also realized what dolts Americans can be, and just repeated the denial lie over and over until it became 'truth'. It works pretty easily, certain religions are an example, such as all of them, along with the cigarette and oil company lies , politicians' lies and such. Our new Grabbenfuhrer just gave an excellent example of how it's used, which even the average dullard might soon realize and marvel at how easy it is to do.

Exxon Oil originally had data that countered the global warming propaganda until Rex Tillerson rose to the top of the pond and reversed the position of Exxon on the issue. Putin gave him an award while imprisoning or killing off his political enemies in horrific ways. I am doubtful that the appointment of Tillerson is in the best interest of USA. I know it will make you greenies happy until you stew in your own juices.

Hoyt, the last part is maybe a bit early as in the Russian Orthodox Church Christmas is about 13 days later then in most western countries, so they'll have Christmas well after New Year.

• The Arctic Ocean is especially prone to ocean acidification, due to water temperatures that are colder than those further south. The short Arctic food chain leaves Arctic marine ecosystems vulnerable to ocean acidification events.
• Thawing permafrost releases carbon into the atmosphere, whereas greening tundra absorbs atmospheric carbon. Overall, tundra is presently releasing net carbon into the atmosphere.
• Small Arctic mammals, such as shrews, and their parasites, serve as indicators for present and historical environmental variability. Newly acquired parasites indicate northward shifts of sub-Arctic species and increases in Arctic biodiversity.
