    Hi Tom
Unfortunately you are correct as humans have now gone past the point of no return and my children's future will suffer unimaginable horror.

The US refugees will return home fairly quickly, maddened by Kiwi accents and lingo. For example, "yeah, no, bro", which is a way of filling a conversation with something other than silence, while thinking of something meaningful to say !

We in New Zealand have no where to run and hide and we will have to stay and fight for our country so why should we accept those who desert their countries when the going gets rough and expect others to make things nice and safe for them, they will only revert to the Customs that destroyed their own lives and countries.
Hey the Dali Lama has the same thoughts as I do. They should stay in their own countries.

You are not talking about Real KIWI but, the underworld that our Politicians must politically correctly accept under United Nations moralistic code.

Feel sorry for the poor buggers losing from that earthquake. I imagine the insurance premiums for quake damage would be prohibitive in some areas.

    /begin rant/
I thoroughly enjoyed the three months I recently spent in NZ. Would have stayed longer, but that was the max allowed without a visa.

I very much appreciated the "free" medical care my wife received when she fell and broke a wrist. The doctor chatted with us for over an hour after setting the wrist. Even offered to let us stay the night at his house if we couldn't find a motel. Later, a motel operator offered us a night for free -- after tuning someone else away for lack of room. Another night we were offered a free meal and lodging at a stranger's home, someone we met while waiting at a tire repair store.

Needless to say, I have the warmest regards for Kiwis and their lovely country.

I visited NZ during the US's election primaries. A number of strangers asked me what was going on with the apparent popularity of Trump? I was as baffled and dismayed as they. Now I hang my head in fear and shame as a result of our presidential election. I'll take your geological earthquake over our political earthquake any day.

I use to wonder why the Germans would be so stupid as to follow after Hitler, or why the Italians were so stupid to follow after Mussolini? I still don't know the answer to that question, but I now know that we in the US are not immune to that sort of mass hypnotism and mass psychosis.

God help us all (and I am an agnostic).

Thank you for the kind comments as I did not realize how good NZ is compared to AU for human rights, tomorrow morning at 930am I have a summery court hearing at the Perth district court against the WA state insurance company and their many lawyers defending 10 defendants which is done by audio telephone from China.
I am self representing and suing for $750,000 AUD for wrongful detainment and torture.

As much as I would like you to keep them, if you Kiwis are smart you will deport them. They will drag you down.

My condolences go out to you for the earthquake damage and casualties.

Shipwreck resting places of WW2 being pillaged by salvagers in the Java Sea, reports The Guardian. Scum need to respect our war dead.

I only read about this today, elsewhere. Indonesia couldn't give a bugger about it, I'd say, they would know what has transpired here, in what must be a large-scale organized operation. This could turn into a big news story, and a major diplomatic stir.
