whoever said all the extra rain from raised H2O vapor due to increased CO2 in the atmosphere would be good for farming clearly wasn't very well informed

Yah Marks only real error was he bought hook line and sinker into the republican line. Wasn't such a bad guy just fooled by one of the biggest efforts to deceive the gubment media could manage. Fortunately some of us can see through it and unfortunately some can't.

All it takes is a little thinking for yourself and the truth becomes pretty clear.

    cheers

just what I've been talking about for years now finally being reported today in the BBC and other news sources

shocking decline seen in the oceans

The oceans are in a worse state than previously suspected, with mass extinction of marine species looming, according to a panel of scientists.

    Thanks coal
Oh my beautiful wickedness, gone, gone
China pounds out so much soot its masking enough radiation to effect global warming

truth be told the advent of global dimming coincided with the advent of the industrial age, the issue is we ( except for China that is ) regulated visible pollutants about 30 or so years ago which had been mitigating the warming effects of the invisible pollutants. Now that China has pounded out what amounts to a short term visible pollutant spree, naturally you see the same effect as before. However, there is no one cause, solar minimum did have some play in the game as did all the others.

What makes that almost amusing is that the new study was largely funded by front groups for the Koch brothers, and other skeptics who were hoping for a repudiation of the earlier studies. Instead, they got massive confirmation of them....

Yes, that is ironic isn't it, that the Koch brothers funded work that ended up debunking part of their beliefs (i.e. disbelief of the view of the majority of scientists who study climate change.) Of course, we know that the true disbelievers will never be convinced no matter how strong the evidence.

The Koch brothers won't ever believe anything at all that might stand between them and another dollar.:)

Haven't seen anything from you for a while, Alan. Hello.

Have you been lying low or been away from the forum, or have I just missed your posts?

I have only been checking the website occasionally for the last few months.

By the way, I passed my board exam last spring, so I have that load off my shoulders.

I think there are three categories for the non-believers, those who have a financial interest in making sure no further regulatory changes are made to impead the money making process, those who have no clue but believe those in the first group and rather argue with "liberal tree huggers" and the last group are simply idiots. :D
