    The thing that bothers me is that all these things are about 2% of the effort required to actually prevent further climate change, and nothing to reduce it.

    They are also done at a ridiculously unsustainable price.

    A global recession will do the most to fix climate change with very little effort
    2013 doesn't look good in most countries so we can sit and do nothing as it will fix itself

    Until going green becomes profitable it will drag its feet.

    Indicative of the horrible greedy competitive humans we are.

    But thats what got us to where we are --on top of the food chain.

    As that opinion is firmly established and is not in dispute we could just take our foot off the gas a bit and pause for a clean up before moving on.
