Oars: A suitable case for propulsion.

    Along the the River Thames, there remain pockets of craftsmanship, where it's still possible to find objects of delight & merit. One such oasis would be the Peter Freebody boatyard.

    However, a little further upstream at Dorchester-on-Thames & set back a little way east of the river is a manufacturer of masts & oars named Collars. There they fashion wood. Ever seen hand crafted oars made for Cornish Pilot Gigs?
