Divinycell F

Just been reading about this 'new' ( to me ) product, it may have applications in boats. Any experience comments welcome. I bet its pricey.

Gents - This product is focused at 2 markets and 3 technical areas.

1) Aircraft Interiors
2) Defense and Aerospace application with high service temperature
3) Dielectric Spacers - Radomes and such.

Marine overlap applications might be engine rooms, engine room overheads for temperature resistance -composite construction for passenger vessels etc.

 

Right. This foam is not easy to process (at least by thermoforming) if the heat required to bend it is 365deg F. Corecell A foam requires 170 degrees F.

 

To me it seems to be a product similar to Rohacell, or Airex R82. Not for normal boat building.
