Newby questions on sailboat design

    For anytheng other that the basic hull modeler, you need the paid version. But there are always calculators and books...

    I see that the paid version of Delftship is about 200 Euros; that's not too bad, especially with the current exchange rate for US dollars. But it's a bit much for my budget right now, when the project is still pretty speculative. Maybe I'll build a model and put it in the lake ...

    For anyone who's interested, I found a very nice description and photos of a Bolger Advanced Sharpie 39, which I've used as kind of a starting point for my own design.
