Short answer no. In more detail: no. there are no plans to release plans; my obsession/affliction with proas is a personal thing. As a hobby style endeavor I've made plans for a number of one off clients over a few decades, primarily marathon racing canoes; they range from a cardboard canoe for some girl scouts in Phoenix Az (a freebe) to an 8 man voyageur canoe for the Yukon Quest. FWIW I just finished the design for a C2 racing canoe which will be produced in limited numbers, it's the last one. I'm getting old enough that producing a full set of full size stations takes more effort than it used to and interferes with my personal projects eg proas.

I appreciate your interest and am glad to converse about the things and share my experience, but like Russell Brown who has more experience with proas than anyone else currently alive I've no interest in providing plans for such an outlier.

But stay tuned, there's a wild outside chance I might do something down the road with a solo 17' wingsailed proa, if I live that long and still have the wits and eyesight ;-)

Bernd says he had a computer issue and lost the work he'd done on the Cataproa II. He will start again if he receives enough interest.
