    cheers.

what do you mean by furling awning?

i have thought about having side pieces made which can pop on and off out of canopy material to give in more protection in the winter months.

It's just a bimini that rolls up. You could have a couple of retracting poles that slide out as the frame, I'v seen it before but can't find pics now. Side pieces is a good idea too.

did think about having a sliding frame on top of the roof to give more cover if needed.

i do like the idea of the clip on side pieces though as in the winter the wind can whip round the sides.

adding all this extra stuff though is adding more weight which is not good.

ive got a nice cool box i made to go on yet.

just waiting on a cover to be made for it as it has got seats on top.

had the boat in a boat and fishing on saturday.

had loads of interest and 2 potential buyers of mouldings so all went well.

out of all the boats on display i would say that mine easily had the most people on board through out the day.

everyone was impressed with the boat and when asked for prices they were quite surprised at the price i have put mouldings or a finished boat up for.

heres a couple pics of the boat just before the show opened.

It's a really well thought out boat, not surprised at all. Smaller cats that are as spacious as yours are always going to be in demand.

    thanks mate.

i can see it taking off properly once i get the boat fully certified which means i can then legally sell full boat packages not just mouldings.

im hoping it will be certified for 5 people plus luggage with max hp of 230hp.

had a new boat angling magazine come out and do a boat test on my boat today.

the chap loved it and the way it handled and performed.

he was so impressed he's having the boat test feature put in next months issue.

hopefully will get a few people interested in the boat.

for anyone interested the mag is called

    SALTWATER BOAT ANGLING

not sure if they will deliver to people who live abroad but im sure they would.

    thanks mate.

just got to sort out the CE certification side of things now and then i can look to put the boat in to production but it all costs money so may be a while before it gets going.

    thanks mate.

21ft 6" overall length , 9ft beam which makes it a very roomy boat and very stable.

had a run out a few weeks a go and worked out the mpg on amount of fuel used and miles done.

ended doing 3/4 litre per mile per engine so 1.5 litres per mile combined.

that was ranging speeds from around 15 knots up to 25 knots on flat calm sea so pretty good.

magazine came out thursday and my boat got a 3 page write up which i was happy with.

there were a couple of mistakes in the write up which main was was fuel capacity which they put it down as 82 litres but its 164 litres as has 2 tanks fitted.

they also forgot to put prices in write up as well.

i know it was a last minute boat test as it was done 2 days before it had to go in to print.

    anyway heres the write up.

Now Garry, honest injun, does the boat track well at all angles in the seaway ? That would be the thing I wonder about, but you certainly have done a sterling job to get it to this stage.
