that weird why you can't watch the video.

props are still not sorted yet.

still waiting on mercury to come down and to be honest im getting f****d off with them.

not replying to any of my emails.

currently got a pair of turning point 13 x 19p 4 blade props on which i bought myself after trying a pair of 13.25 x 17p 4 blades of a friends boat which were spot on but over revved slightly.

cruises around 20-22 knots and tops out around 35 knots but i reckon i could get a bit more out of it if i had the money to buy stainless props.

heres the link to the video again

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XXiLXxo-_M

    link works fine for me.

if it don't work go on youtube and look up THE ULTIMATE FISHING BOAT or look up TAFISHING on youtube or TOTALLY AWESOME FISHING on facebook.

Really nice to see the boat Gary, excellent job. You must be pleased to get her out on the water after all that hard work. Hope she rewards you.

Have to say that did not seem to have a problem getting S/S props for a Crownline with I/O Mercury (180) last year....;)

had the boat lifted out yesterday so the engines could have there first service.

all good on that side of things.

been sat in the water now for nearly 4 months with no antifoul.

was a bit of slime on the bottom but nothing a jet wash couldn't remove.

gave it all a good clean up before it was put back in the water.

boat is now sat on its floating pontoon so no more slime on the bottom from now on.

getting the boat on the pontoon is easy.

drives straight up but have to stop at a certain point as the water intakes on the engines would be out of the water and the boat has t be winched up the final 18" so its out of the water completely.

got a nice electric winch being fitted to a frame that bolts on to the pontoon which means it will pull it up and also pull it down enough to get the engines in the water so you can drive it off.

once sorted i'll put up a video of it all working.

    works really well.

im not a fan of antifoul hence why its on the pontoon.

my mate has got a nice winch for it and just made a frame to bolt it to the pontoon.

just needs to be galvanized and it can be bolted on.

only needs the winch to pull it up the final 18" and pull it back enough so the engines are in the water so it can be driven off.

not been on here much or done much on the boat as been too busy.

i have managed to get round to making a roof extension plug and mould.

i have now made the new extension and just need to take it down to the boat to trim up the flange that fits on to the wheelhouse and it can then be fitted.

it sits about 8" higher than the existing roof so plenty of clearance for most people.

i have also putting 2 windows in to the front of it so people can see over the roof.

as soon as i get it fitted i will post up more pics.

also got a winch system now fitted on the pontoon to pull the boat up the final foot or so and it also helps to pull the boat off and we made a roller system for the back of the pontoon for when the boat starts to drive up on to the pontoon.

    all works really well.

in the box on the winch set up is a battery which is connected to a trickle charger to keep the battery charged and conditioned.

Quite a system. I hope you don't have seals or otters, etc. they would love it.

    thanks guys.

no seals or otters down here but you do get the odd seal in the harbour from time to time.

i hate antifoul and looking at a few of the boats around mine which have recently been out the water for a clean and new antifoul they are already starting to get a build up of slime and weed so glad mines sat out of the water.

got the windows bonded in to the roof extension today so its now ready to be fitted.

once down at the boat i can offer it up to the roof and draw on the roof shape to the bolt flange and then trim it to shape and bond and bolt it on.

    roof extension now fitted.

im toying with the idea of chopping the back off the roof mould and front off the roof extension mould and joining the 2 pieces together to make it all in one.

quite a tricky job but will be worth doing i reckon.

Very Cool! You know as I look at it I think it would be cool if you left it as an option and add furling awning to it for family users.
