Looking for a Design

I have a client who would like us to build for him a new vessel and hence I am looking for a suitable design that we can put forward to him in our proposal for the newbuild.

He quite likes the design and look of the following boats and is looking for something similar or along these lines:

Other aspects of the initial design and requirements are:

50-65 feet in length with good sized beam
Twin screw propulsion
10-12 Knots cruise and 16 Knot max speed
Long range
Bow thruster
Ability to take the ground in shallow ports and dry out.
Master cabin with ensuite and bath tub
Double cabin with ensuite shower
Crew cabin with bunks
Additional toilet and shower
Large living area and galley
Generator set
Desalinator for bath.

I would be pleased to hear if you anyone has a stock design suitable or a concept that I can propose to the client. We can build both in aluminium and steel and the client is as yet undecided as to his preference. The budget will be reasonably tight for what he wants, but I am sure we can find something that will fit the bill.

On further reflection I note your design speed is above "full displacement" speed. Thus the C55 is not a suitable form.....at these speeds aluminum becomes pretty attractive, at the very least for the deckhouse and flying bridge. For the 12-15 knot speed range I would suggest something like my PL5602, LOA 56'0", LWL 53'9", beam max 15'0", BWL 13'10", hull draft 36" at 60500 pound displacement (aluminum construction) and speeds to 15 knots with twin engines in the 400 HP class.

The PL5602 is designed around the (17.5' by 11.5') deckhouse with 360 degree windows. This space includes a large galley, dining/saloon area, and helm and navigation areas. Where she mine I would arrange an interior access to the flying bridge as well. Under the deckhouse is a big engineroom with separate utility room forward. The owner's full width stateroom is aft (with boat deck above) and guest quarters are forward.

The hull form is multi-chine with no compound curves or rolled plate except the bow wrap plate. There is a full length chine flat well above the waterline to minimize spray and topside whetting when proceeding at speed in a sea or crosswind.

This is a completely new project and I still have not even designed the structure. I finished it this month for the yard which co-operates, and therefore to behave properly for them, I had to design a new vessel in style like this.

I am ideally looking for proven designs, as expecting the client to move quite quickly to build, hence the sooner we find something he is happy to go for the better it is.
The boat will be primarily for owner and his wife for long term cruising Europe & Med. A guest cabin with ensuite is required, and a cabin suitable for grand children. Master cabin is to have ensuite with bath. Comfortable and spacious living areas. Boat needs to be able to take the ground in shallow or drying harbours. Twin screw with bow thruster. Capable of 16 knots and cruise 10-12 knots.

It's not easy to find a modern-looking stock (or production-ready) design for a 65 ft passagemaker yacht. I've been surprized to see that you have found 4 different options, without passing through a concept-submission stage. Looks like preemptive designing does pays sometimes, I'll have to start thinking about it.
