Does anyone have an idea where to sell a large ex-navy freezer barge?

    One of our equipment liquidation customers has a 120'X33' ex-navy barge located in Morgan City, LA and wants us to sell it on our Videomercial AD Network. However, this is such a specialized vessel that needs to be converted into offshore living quarters, ice plant or updated to current codes. It really is in good condition for being built in 1955. I'm thinking 3rd World country? Any Ideas or contacts for such a vessel?

    a 30 second video is on our site;

    Thanks in advance, Ken

    Firefox browsers announce your site provided above as "attacking site trying to install malware" !!??!!

    Answer to your question: "Apollo Duck" is one of the sites specialized in selling such vessels.

    Ebay, sounds silly but you get a lot of exposure.

    Thanks, For the info...I got the same warning on my site and my web guy is on his honeymoon, I know Google Analytics was installed but that is not the problem ! Sorry, and it will be investigated Tuesday! Microsoft said it is some kind of script that he has to remove on the backend!

    I appreciate the lead on the barge and will check it out...Thanks again !

    Advertise? - pretend you want to buy one and google the request - then consider advertising where you saw that or an equivalent site????
