interior gelcoat

    What is the best way to prep for interior gelcoat on fiberglass? Any help would be greatly appreciate

    skuff it up w/ 36-60 grit making sure to not miss even a tiny spot,youll be knocking the shine off the surface layer of resin dulling it to the look of frosted glass. then vacuum and clean it with MEK or another solvent,check for any missed spots that like to show up after you clean it,sand some more,re clean the whole thing then apply the gelcoat.

    Add wax to the gelcoat (basicly making a topcoat / flowcoat) so it cures non-stick.
