I let the 1708 fiberglass cloth relax over the transom overnight. I will wet this in today when it warms up.

On the lighter side of things the inspectors flew in to check on my progress.

    Looking good!

Don't forget you can pre-warm all your materials, containers, and tools prior to mixing / layup ( even your transom! ).

Yes sir! I leave all of my epoxies in my home. Use as needed. Im down to my last half gallon at the moment. I'm shaping the angles on my transom at the moment. No rush whatsoever. I am shooting for 15'6" by the time I'm done. That way I fall under coast guard regs. Anything under 16' in Louisiana doesn't fall under coast guard. Keeping it simple.

I've got my transom shaped the way I want it. Now to apply epoxy along the edges. Tomorrow I will fiberglass one side.

Epoxy laid. This is going to be a gorgeous boat by the time I'm done. Cajun ingenuity at it's finest!

I decided to sand the transom down and apply another coat of epoxy.

A few months big brother. But, it'll be ok. I'm going to epoxy that and it's twin. Everything will have to be tabbed in. It will take awhile but this boat is going to be beautiful.
