Seats? I would think that would be your last concern. How is the engine? The electrical system? The fuel system? the plumbing? Is it structurally sound? Why are you worrying about seats at this stage? Do the bulge pumps work? Is there a pump? Are there topside leaks? Is the stuffing box sound? Lots to do before you build seats.

Really! I have been working on the Benny for 5 years and I still haven't built the hatch / seat to the lazerrette, or the up curved seat at the transom. They both washed away. Too many other priorities.

I do have 101 things to do before I consider seating,it's just I like to plan ahead and every problem we have faced their seems to be plenty of solutions thanks to the good people of this forum, however I ain't seen jack on seating and when I don't have a starting point I gets me self all worked up and anxious hence the seat obsession.

Anyhooo, we plan to put more stringers in for extra support and I thought the exsisting ones are in pretty good nick, maybe not I am so new to this I got wiki tabbed for the lingo.

The engine (outboard) is of no concern as we will be purchasing a nice new shiny one.

Plumbing and electrics not planned out but we have a bit of knowledge in thease departments so we know what we want, just not 100% where they will go.
First off we have to build a cradle and a giant gazebo

Next thing to do is sand, sand, sand can't wait:(
