    You so right

You are so right Gonzo but they are not interested. Atomix 2 staff have pretty much brushed me off. You know what infact they stated in there report "boat performing ok" but the local experts who I got to look at are saying ... she is performing far from ok. They have literally left us to dry. Some customer service aye. Well I just need to sort this out as I own her and has bloody cost a lot of money.

    4 props still not satisfactory

    Hi there Guys,

Well tried a few props but not much joy yet.... The only one semi helped was the propulse 4 blade composite prop but the speed went down dramatically. Got 2 more props coming with high rake and cupping .... will see.
    Thank you all the far

Have you ever ridden in another one of these things ? It might be useful to have that experience, that way you might get a feeling for how much it is peculiar to just your boat, or is common to them.

Yeh I did ask Atomix if I could speak to one of their clients but they kindly declined as privacy act or something. I bloody haven't seen another when out and about. Have spoke to couple of blokes who own the smaller centre console models and seem to be happy with it and did breifly speak to a bloke at a busy ramp who owned a 5.6m open top model... he wasn't very forth coming as was in a rush to get out of there. understanadble as boat ramps do get very busy.

If Props don't help I think I will have to go down the trim tab path ... It would have been nice for the blokes at Atomix to help with this issue as I am sure they must be aware of this problem but are tight lipped. I loved the boat and just would like to enjoy using it.
Well I am sure I will get to the bottom of it somehow.

Have tried all the way down and perhaps a inch or so up but any further and she will porpoise very easily.

I wonder whether transom wedges might be worth a try. Cheap and fairly easy to fit, under the outboard mounting bracket, so you can get more in-trim.

Good call and totally logical..... I mentioned this to the guys at Atomix and you know what, after having the boat there for over a week, they called me and said Boat ready to go. I was exicted as finally I thought I will be able to take her out in ocean and no more lake trials.... I get there and asked what they had done....he said actually nothing. Everything is as it should be..... No Transom wedge or anything. He said we were going to try out the Enertia prop but it won't fit and can't fit because it wasn't built of Suzuki( By the way this was a lie as I called mercury dealer back home and he told me, they can supply me with fitting kit from mercury for my Suzuki to fit this prop). Not sure why they lied.
Just to keep it real I invited a few boaty mates to the lake and got them to take her out for a blast and give me their opinion as I have never owned a 6 meter boat or HardTop for that matters, just wanted to make sure it is not me as the previous boat I owned was a 5.15 Reflex Chianti and bloody awesome boat... went great. Well these boaty mates said exactly the same thing.... don't take her out in ocean before sorting this issue out as she could be unsafe if had to negotiate bad weather. They suggested the same thing... I need wedges on it so I get more tuck.

Well, it is not going to cost much, so worth doing, imo.

Yeh you are totally correct.... I will.
The only reason I have been delaying this is as some people say its not the answer as I will be masking the issue and perhaps make the porpoise worst... but Bugger it I will try this.
Thank you my friend... I am glad, at least their are good folks like yourself out there ready to help... far more than the Boat people themselves.
Oh did mention that when the boat was up there for this issue of porpoise ....and they did not make any change.... They still would not release the boat to me unless I paid $270.00.
All I can say is What goes around comes around mate.
    Thanks Again

Guys.... The boat might be awsesome and am still confident I will get there but tell you if I was the manufacturer/retailer of anything, I would make sure my product performed satisfactory to anybodys standards. It beats me how some companies rep just don't take pride in their product. This is just becoming a trend now... I think retailers are constantly cutting back on cost and as a result they perhaps end up with staff who are not good for there business.... They need to understand that "there business is only as good as their staff" In my case perhaps a $100 wedge set might have fixed the issue (Hell I would have happy paid for it) but it wasn't even considered even after me mentioning it.
Sorry guys ... totally got carried away.. This is not a bleet forum.... SORRY
