Lost Shackleton negatives found in Antarctica

Wow, really amazing quality in spite of circumstances!

 

As many who have studied this expedition know, the expedition's photographer (Frank Hurley) had to throw out many photographs he wanted to save. Fortunately these were found and hopefully other explorers will find others...who knows. Despite being black & white, those from the original collection are of impeccable quality. Hurley really took some good shots.
