VW polo 1.9 Diesel mounted in a frame to fit in a hovercraft?

    Has anyone ever taken an engine from a VW polo 1.9 Diesel, year 1999 ,and mounted in a frame to fit in a hovercraft, bearing in mind there is an ECU, I can easily make the engine mounting frame, Im not using a gearbox or any kind of clutch transmission, except for belts and pulleys which are easy to do.Aiden
