I am looking for plans to build a wooden, self propelled, flat bottom 48' x 16' barge. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

not exactly a complex craft there.....
might end up designing it yourself, although you can probably find something suitable floating around... will post anything i can find here.

Are you referring to the kind of barges we have in Holland, w/o wheelhous etc.?
If that's the case I can mail you probably a drawing.
