    Hello everybody,

I'm still not efficient with CAD, I still draft by hand, I know understand MAXSURF as I find it quite user friendly, and the fairing features are amazing.
But now the problem is I have a beautifull hull but can't do anything else.
A friend of mine is exellent in CAD but only use 3DS max.
Has anybody used the combination of Maxsurf and 3DS max? is it NOT recommended for any technical reasons?
Will it be a problem to get construction plans afterwards?

    Thank you in advance,

    Mathieu

3DS is a great modeler, but not so much as a cad tool. you will be way better to use something like rhino, ashlar vellum, concepts3d or solidthinking, it will be easier for you to produce drawings for construction use
